Med-Mizer is the FIRST to offer a hi-lo retractable bed frame to the Long Term Care industry. The RetractaBed provides the safest resident room in the Long Term Care industry, while increasing resident convenience and independence. When the one button, auto-contour positions are actuated the head section of the bed hugs the wall, thus keeping the resident in proximity to the bedside cabinet and overhead lighting. When the head section is elevated, the foot section retracts to free up an additional 13 inches of valuable floor space for wheel chairs or visitors. A non-retractable bed places the resident in a potential dangerous position of stretching back over the head section to retrieve personal items from the bedside cabinet. The RetractaBed will significantly reduce these inconveniences for the residents.
